Newly Qualified member of the Team
Rachel makes qualifications count

Ex-Balshaw High pupil Rachel Metcalf saw all her hard work pay off this week when she passed the last of 14 exams required to qualify as a fully fledged Accountant.
Rachel, who works at Chorley Accountancy firm Abrams Ashton on St Thomas Road, was delighted when she found out she had qualified. “The results were released on the internet at 5am in the morning and I was sitting at my computer waiting for them to be uploaded from 4.30am. I jumped for joy and nearly woke the neighbours when I found at I’d passed!”
Chorley born Rachel, now 29, joined Abrams Ashton as a trainee when she left school. Senior Partner at the firm Jo Ecob was delighted when heard Rachel’s news. “Rachel is a very popular member of the team and we’re all over the moon that she has qualified. It’s a long haul through years of studying and it’s to her credit she’s stayed the course and achieved her goal of becoming an Accountant.”
